Wedding reception on a budget?? Plastic table covers?
hi, I was wondering what you guys think about this idea. In order to save money on having to rent or buy linens for my reception, I was wondering if it would be ok to use round plastic table covers and top them with organza overlays. That way, the top of the table actually wouldnt be plastic but instead a pretty organza fabric covering up the plastic?
Organza overlays arent that expensive. Would that be tacky?
I think it is fine-- I like the organza idea-- but, and concerned witht the static cling of a plastic.. ..... any thought so using a bed sheet-- Sounds funny but, you could get them at target or walmart cheap and noone would know --- I have used them for curtains before! and other things
