How in the heck do you make pew bows!?
Due to a scam that happened to me from beebows.net, I am out a lot of money. Now I have to resort to making my own pew bows, since having a florist make them is out of the question (way too expensive!)
I looked at videos, but they go way too fast for me! I need something visual, but something that goes at a slower pace.
If you can't find any good videos...can you please help explain to me how to make a pew bow!? Please? My wedding is counting on you. Thanks!
I ordered bows from beebows.net and they took my money and never sent me the bows.
I am using some weird kind of ribbon to practice with, it has one shiny side and one rough side...and it makes a crinkly noise when you bend it...maybe I am using wrong type of ribbon.
There is no right or wrongh way to make a bow. You may have to experiement with different types of ribbon, but if it looks nice that is all that matters.
I am not a bow person, I'm just not good at making bows. So I cheat by using clear glue dots. I use a brand called Zots, you can find them with the scrap booking stuff. I just use the glue dots between the fold to hold it all together and then I just fold it to look pretty and maybe tie it all together with a smaller bow.
Another idea is to forget the pew bows, instead make a swag out of ribbon and some silk flowers, just glue the heads of the flowers to the ribbon and swag it across each pew however you want.
