Weddings Supplies – Accessories

We do not want to do it at the end of the ceremony as we have something else planned. We were thinking about doing the release after we say our vows and as we are introduced to the guests as man and wife. I am unsure of how to do this. It is a non-religious ceremony. When and how would each guest get their butterfly box? My fiance and I will also have a mass release box of our own so we thought us opening our box could signify the time for everyone else to do the same. Has anyone else done this? I feel unsure of what to do.
